The code of conduct aims to establish a set of minimum standards that all parties involved are expected to follow. This applies to all individuals involved in the publication process, including the author, editor in chief, Editorial Board, reviewers, and the publisher/managers of Arka Institute. This statement is in accordance with the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Every submitted manuscript will be screening by plagiarism checker to ensure the article that had been submitted by the author is originally works or has been appropriately cited or quoted.

Publication decisions

The editor of the Co-Creation: Jurnal Ilmiah Ekonomi Manajemen Akuntansi dan Bisnis is tasked with the responsibility of selecting the articles that will be published in the journal. The consideration of the work's validation and its significance to researchers and readers should always guide such decisions. The editors are guided by the policies of the journal's editorial board and are bound by legal requirements concerning libel, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. The editors may consult with other editors or reviewers in reaching this decision.

Fair play

An editor remains responsible for evaluating manuscripts based solely on their intellectual content, without any consideration for the author's personal characteristics or beliefs, without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors.

Confidentiality

The editor and the entire editorial team are strictly prohibited from sharing any details about a submitted manuscript with anyone except the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher, as appropriate.

DUTIES OF REVIEWERS

Contribution to Editorial Decisions

All manuscripts that are received for review must be handled as confidential documents. The documents should not be shared or talked about with anyone unless authorized by the editor.

Standards of Objectivity

Reviews should be conducted in an objective manner. It is not appropriate to personally criticize the author. Referees should clearly express their views, providing supporting arguments.

Acknowledgement of Sources

Reviewers should make an effort to identify pertinent published work that the authors have not cited. Whenever making a statement that involves an observation, derivation, or argument that has been previously reported, it is important to provide the appropriate citation as a reference. In addition to reviewing the manuscript, it is important for the reviewer to inform the editor if they are aware of any significant similarities or overlaps between the manuscript being reviewed and any other previously published papers.

Attribution of the Paper

Only individuals who have made substantial contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study should be considered as authors. It is important to acknowledge and include all individuals who have made substantial contributions as co-authors. The corresponding author must ensure that the paper includes all appropriate co-authors and excludes any inappropriate ones.
