Publication Ethics Statement

Hexatech: Jurnal Ilmiah Teknik publishes scientific articles within the scope of engineering science. Published articles are critical and comprehensive scientific research, studies, or reviews on important and current issues or reviews of scientific books and journals. This statement describes the ethical behaviour of all parties involved in the publishing process, including authors, the editorial board, Bestari Partners, and he publisher.

Ethical Guidelines for Publishing

Publishing articles in Hexatech: Jurnal Ilmiah Teknik is a very important process for developing coherent and respectable knowledge. It is a direct reflection of the quality of the authors' work and the institutions that support the researchers. The articles reviewed contain and support scientific methodology. Therefore, it is important to agree on the expected standards of ethical behaviour for all parties involved in the publishing process, including authors, editors, expert editors, managing editors, publishers, and the public.

Publishing Decisions

Editors are responsible for deciding on articles submitted for publication. The validity of the works and the importance of the works to the authors and readers should support the decision. The editorial board's policies and laws governing plagiarism, copyright, and defamation serve as a guide for editors. Editors may discuss with other editors or the review team to decide on policies. Editors make decisions based on recommendations from peer reviewers.

Fairness

The editors always evaluate manuscripts based on their intellectual merit, regardless of the author's race, gender, creed, ethnicity, nationality, or political philosophy.

Confidentiality

Expert editors and managing editors are prohibited from disclosing any information related to a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the authors themselves, the senior editor, their bestary partners, and the publisher.

All unpublished content written in the manuscript is prohibited from being used in the editors' own research without confirmation from the authors.
