The manuscripts that are rejected at this stage are devoid of creativity, encompass notable scientific inaccuracies, or fail to conform to the planned scope and aims of the Cessie: Jurnal Ilmiah Hukum. Individuals who satisfy the requisite criteria are directed to experts for evaluation.

Peer Review

Submitted manuscripts are normally examined by one to three experts who evaluate the scientific validity and coherence of the document, check for any duplication of already published works, and evaluate the clarity of the manuscript for prospective publication. The approach employed is a single-blind peer review process.

Decision

The decision-making process entails reviewers offering recommendations to the editor, who possesses the ultimate authority to either accept or reject the item. The Editors will carefully review these reports and, if necessary, confer with members of the Editorial Board. The editor's choice is conclusive.

Rejection - Manuscripts that fail to meet our publication requirements will not be published, and authors will not be given the chance to submit a revised version of the manuscript to this journal.

Accepted with Major Revision - The manuscript will be reevaluated once significant revisions have been made.

Accepted with Minor Revisions - Manuscripts that earn an accept-pending-revisions verdict will be published in this journal, as long as they undergo minor alterations. The edits submitted by an editor will be thoroughly checked to ensure that all relevant updates are incorporated before the publishing.

Accepted manuscripts will be published as they are, without requiring any further modifications.

After making adjustments, it is vital for the author to send the corrected manuscript to the editor.

If the revision is returned after a period of more than two months or beyond the set time limit, then the manuscript will be evaluated as a fresh submission.
